Summary

Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Ensure the human resource services are efficiently and effectively delivered
  • Work closely with the HR Manager & Dept Managers with end to end recruitment and record keeping matters
  • Support delivering specific corporate HR initiatives as required eg Annual Performance Reviews, Development Plans, AODA, on boarding etc
  • Involved in end to end recruitment. Eg Reference checking, documentation and other communication
  • Support accurate and timely onboarding of new employees.
  • Consistently apply Workplace Management Procedures to ensure compliance with policies and procedures
  • Ensure site practices are in line with established company policies
  • Be aware of Audit compliance with HR systems, policies and procedures and make improvement recommendations with change management awareness where necessary.
  • Support accurate monthly reporting and recording requirements.
  • A sound understanding and capacity to apply document control practices both electronically and permanent records
  • Knowledge of archiving and capacity to support record keeping standards consistent with Information Management System (IMS) in conjunction with Health Safety and Training.
  • Mandatory confidentiality and privacy considerations apply to this role
  • Other duties as directed from time to time

 

Qualifications

  • Relevant experience – Administrative
  • SOX compliance awareness
  • HRIS systems knowledge
  • Awareness of contemporary social media communication methods for candidate checks etc.
  • CHRP designation or working toward the same is considered an asset
Rate of Pay Salary, Commensurate with experience and qualifications
