Summary
Shift Schedule: 5X2
Rate of Pay: Salary, commensurate with experience and qualifications

Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Adhere to all Company policies, procedures and standards and legislated requirements with a focus on health and safety.
  • Monitoring drill progress, logging drill core using appropriate software, processes and interpretation of exploration geology.
  • Directs, coordinates and controls employees assigned to him/her consistent with the Company policies, procedures and standards.
  • Adheres to the Health/Safety and Loss Control Program requirements.
  • Aid in completing weekly Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)
  • Ensure core logging and master database are updated on a regular basis.
  • Monitor and maintain the QA/QC databases.
  • Monitor the work of core technicians in the performance of their duties.
  • Must be able to collaborate with other exploration and possibly production geologists with the aim of generating and advancing exploration programs.
  • Other duties as directed from time to timePerform other duties, as required.

Qualifications

  • Must be graduate in an earth sciences program, minimum B.Sc. or equivalent from an accredited institution.
  • Capacity to support, coach and direct employees who report to this position
  • Deliver work output to ensure logged core is timely, accurate and at a volume to support critical information flow
