Summary

Duties and Responsibilities of a Mobile Supervisor include:

  • Supervises and coordinates the mechanical crew to ensure work is performed correctly, safely and on time with minimal impact on mine productivity.
  • Holds daily safety/communication meetings with crew.
  • Supports and directs lead hands in crew line-ups.
  • Ensures crews are trained to work in a safe, productive and environmentally sound manner.
  • Inspects work to identify training needs.
  • Supervises and manages performance in step with set KPI’s including planned and responsive maintenance & shutdowns
  • Motivates and instructs all crew members when possible.
  • Reviews and signs off PM Sheets/work-orders in SAP/CMMS
  • Communicates with other departments personnel to plan and schedules maintenance work.
  • Assists in revising programs, procedures, parts, systems, etc.
  • All other duties as may be assigned.

Qualifications

  • Ontario Secondary School Diploma.
  • Interprovincial Mechanic Licence.
  • Self motivated with strong safety and leadership skills.
  • Effective supervisory, communication skills & ability.
  • Supervisor Common Core Modules (Surface or UG)
Rate of Pay Salary, Commensurate with experience and qualifications
